Vid. Krishna Vikas is an accomplished Veena player and dedicated educator who holds a Master’s degree in Veena and graduated with a First Rank from RLV College of Music and Fine Arts. With over a decade of intensive training, Krishna is trained under renowned Vainika Smt. Maya Varma, inheriting a rich musical lineage characterized by technical precision and aesthetic depth. As an active concert performer (Katcheri artist), Krishna brings real-world stage experience into the classroom, offering a comprehensive curriculum that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical mastery.

As an educator, Krishna provides personalized instruction for students of all ages, ensuring a strong foundation for beginners through a rigorous focus on meettu (plucking techniques) and the clarity of gamakas. For intermediate learners, the curriculum shifts toward developing fingering speed and enhancing the bhava (expressive soul) of various compositions. Advanced students receive specialized training in the complexities of Manodharma, focusing on Ragam, Thanam, and Swaras. Beyond practical performance, Krishna also offers in-depth theory classes, providing students with a holistic understanding of the Veena’s history and its structural nuances.
