These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of OctavesOnline's Website.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use OctavesOnline's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of . Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.


Terms & Conditions – Octaves International Music & Dance Competition 2026

  1. Eligibility
    The competition is open to participants from India and other eligible countries, subject to the age and category requirements specified at the time of registration.

  2. Registration
    Registration is considered complete only after successful payment of the applicable registration fee and submission of all required participant information.

  3. Registration Fee
    The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, except where explicitly stated otherwise by the organisers.

  4. Competition Categories
    Participants must register under the appropriate music or dance category and age group. The organisers reserve the right to move a participant to a more appropriate category if required.

  5. Performance Submission
    Participants must submit their performance in the format and within the deadlines communicated by Octaves. Submissions received after the deadline may not be considered.

  6. Originality & Copyright
    Participants are responsible for ensuring that their performance and any accompanying music, recordings, or material do not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party. Octaves will not be responsible for copyright disputes arising from participant submissions.

  7. Judging
    Performances will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the organisers. Judging will be based on criteria appropriate to the respective category. The judges' decision will be final and binding.

  8. Selection & Progression
    Participation in one round does not guarantee progression to the next round. The organisers will determine the number of participants progressing from the Preliminary Round to the Semi-Finals and from the Semi-Finals to the Grand Finale.

  9. Grand Finale
    Selected finalists may be required to participate in a live Grand Finale. The venue and date will be communicated separately. Participants and/or their parents or guardians are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and other personal expenses unless specifically stated otherwise.

  10. Changes to the Competition
    Octaves reserves the right to modify the competition schedule, categories, format, judging process, venue or other arrangements if circumstances require. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered participants.

  11. Cancellation
    In exceptional circumstances, Octaves reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel the competition. The organisers will communicate the applicable arrangements to registered participants.

  12. Disqualification
    Participants may be disqualified for providing incorrect information, submitting inappropriate or fraudulent content, violating competition rules, attempting to influence the judging process, or engaging in any conduct deemed inappropriate by the organisers.

  13. Use of Participant Content
    By participating, participants (or their parent/legal guardian in the case of minors) grant Octaves permission to use submitted photographs, videos, names and performance-related content for legitimate competition, promotional, marketing and social-media purposes, without additional compensation.

  14. Minors
    Participants below the age of 18 must participate with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. The parent/legal guardian is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring the participant's compliance with these terms.

  15. Communication
    Participants and/or their parents or guardians agree to receive competition-related communications from Octaves through email, phone, WhatsApp or other communication channels provided during registration.

  16. Privacy
    Participant information will be collected and used for registration, competition administration, communication, judging and related promotional activities in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.

  17. Acceptance of Terms
    By completing registration and making payment, the participant and, where applicable, their parent/legal guardian confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
