She was taught music in the gurukul system of learning by the legends of music - Kittamani Iyer, MS Viswanathan, etc. She has excellent subject knowledge and is very patient in moulding the kids and getting their basics very strong. She is specialised in training students with strong basics and details of raags & manodharma and establishing them as performers.
