Vid.Durga has performed 400+ concerts from the age of eight. Her strength is in training the bowing and fingering technique in a conventional yet modern approach. Durga is one of a kind solo violinist who has learned all the nuances of the bani from the great gurus through the process of observation and self-improvisation. Her strength is in training students to the strict adherence to patantara and an uncompromising attitude towards Bhava. She has a unique and very pleasing style in rendering raga Bhava, and excellence in Nandam which is admired and learned by her students and followers.
